Damage Control

It's bound to happen, If you fish long enough, you are going to snap a tip section, break a stripper guide, or back over your rod pulling out of the driveway! Semper Fly Rods Lifer Program is a NO FAULT LIFETIME WARRANTY to provide you peace of mind and get you back on the water as quickly as possible without a struggle.

All Semper Fly Rods are hand crafted and go through a thorough quality inspection process upon arrival into our shop and prior to departure. Semper Fly Rods will Repair or Replace anything that leaves our shop and is found to be damaged due defective workmanship or manufacturing flaws on components at no cost to the customer. The Lifer Program does not cover normal wear and tear, abuse, accidents; nonetheless, Semper Fly Rods WILL repair or replace* these items for a nominal fee.


*If a model is discontinued for some reason, we will replace your rod with an equal or higher value rod in our current offerings.

Warranty Process

Sending in Your Rod

  1. Register Your Rod

  2. Ship your ENTIRE ROD (ALL SECTIONS) to: Semper Fly Rods Attn: Warranty 8870 Hickory View Street Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110

  3. Include return shipping note to where you want the rod shipped upon completion. You can also include info on the issue or email us at repair@semperflyrods.com (feel free to include any photos to get us a jump on your repair)

  4. Check Payable to Semper Fly Rods for $35 for shipping and handling**

**Custom Color Rods might require an additional service fee. Contact us for specific pricing.

*We highly recommend using UPS or Fed-Ex, so you have tracking information

*Do not send rod bags, tubes, reels, lines, flies, etc...my dog will likely eat them!

Repair / Replacement Process

  1. Once we receive your rod we will notify you via email.

  2. We will thoroughly inspect your rod.

  3. We will notify you through email if we will repair or replace your item.

    1. If we are repairing your item, we will provide you with a timeline to complete and ship your rod. If you need is urgent, please let us know.

    2. If we are replacing your rod, your new rod is already on the way and we are sending you tracking information.
